Terms and Conditions All Over Taxidermy
Welcome to All Over Taxidermy! By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and a smooth process for both parties.
Scope of Services
- All Over Taxidermy specializes in the preservation and mounting of mammals, particularly large game. We reserve the right to refuse projects that do not align with our expertise or ethical standards.
Booking and Submission
- Clients must provide a clear description of the species and mount type when booking a project.
- Specimens must be delivered in a suitable condition. We reserve the right to refuse specimens that are improperly handled, decomposed, or non-compliant with New Zealand regulations.
- It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all necessary permits, licenses, or documentation for the specimen are obtained and valid.
Deposit and Payment
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon project acceptance to secure your booking.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full upon project completion.
- All mounts not paid for within 30 days of notification will incur a storage fee of $25 per week.
- If the balance remains unpaid after 90 days, All Over Taxidermy reserves the right to sell or otherwise dispose of the mount to recover costs.
Turnaround Time
- Turnaround times vary depending on the complexity of the project, seasonal demand, and supply chain factors.
- While we strive to meet estimated delivery times, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. Clients will be notified promptly of any significant changes.
Quality Assurance
- All Over Taxidermy guarantees a high standard of craftsmanship and uses quality materials to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal.
- We are not responsible for any natural deterioration of the specimen due to environmental conditions or improper care by the client post-delivery.
Collection and Delivery
- Clients must collect their completed mounts within 30 days of notification. If delivery is requested, shipping will be invoiced separately.
- All Over Taxidermy is not responsible for any damage occurring during transport, regardless of the shipping method or carrier. We strongly recommend that clients arrange for shipping insurance to protect their mounts during transit.
Care and Maintenance
- Mounts should be kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and pests.
- Clients are responsible for proper maintenance. Guidance on care can be found on our website or provided upon request.
Cancellation Policy
- Deposits are non-refundable. If a project is canceled after commencement, additional fees may apply to cover work already completed.
Liability
- While every effort is made to preserve specimens with care, taxidermy is a delicate process. All Over Taxidermy is not liable for damages resulting from pre-existing conditions of the specimen, shipping methods, or natural factors beyond our control. We recommend clients arrange adequate shipping insurance to cover potential risks.
- Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
Ethical and Legal Compliance
- All Over Taxidermy complies with New Zealand wildlife protection laws and expects clients to do the same.
- We will not accept specimens obtained unlawfully or in violation of conservation regulations.
Client Communication
- All inquiries and updates will be communicated via the contact information provided by the client. Please ensure your details are accurate and up to date.
USA Specific
- All shipments of game trophies entering the USA must pass inspection by US fish and wildlife at an approved USFW location known as a port of entry.
- CUSTOMS BROKER. All freighted trophies will require clearance on arrival. If you are unfamiliar with this process, it is advisable that you engage a customs broker to help with the process.
- Each shipment must contain the trophies of only one hunter.
