Trophy Expediting From New Zealand
International Game Shipping
At All Over Taxidermy, we offer professional trophy expediting services in New Zealand for international hunters who want to send their trophies home safely, efficiently, and fully compliant with import requirements. From field to freight, we ensure your game is expertly prepared for global transport.
International Trophy Shipping Made Easy
Whether you’re sending a red stag, tahr, fallow deer, or wild boar, our seamless expediting process includes:
- Fleshing, turning, salting, and drying of skins
- Boiling, cleaning, and peroxide treatment of skulls and bones
- Compliance with international export regulations
Our meticulous approach meets the standards of trophy import authorities around the world, including the United States, Australia, and Europe.
Optional Tanning Service for Export
In addition to our standard preparation, we also offer on-site tanning, shaving, and drying of skins. This service is especially useful for hunters shipping to countries with strict biosecurity requirements like Australia.
Please note: If you choose this option, your taxidermist will need to rehydrate the skin before mounting. We only recommend this for specific export needs.
Custom Crating for Cost-Effective Shipping
We build custom timber crates designed to fit the exact size of your trophies. This helps:
- Reduce shipping volume and cost
- Comply with international packaging regulations
- Keep your trophies secure during transit
For shoulder mount deer trophies, we cut the skull cap to allow antlers to fit within a more compact crate, saving on freight charges.

Shipping to the USA – What You Need to Know
If you’re sending deer trophies to the United States, please note:
- All trophies must be inspected by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at an authorized port of entry
- A customs broker is highly recommended to help with clearance
- Each shipment must contain trophies from only one hunter to meet U.S. import rules
We can provide advice on this process and guide you through the steps to ensure smooth entry into the USA.
